Being of Surinamese origin, this Belgian jewellery designer started making her own jewellery about ten years ago. During her time in Belgium she began to recognize her own creativity, which allowed her to discover all sorts of abilities she had never thought to possess.
Today, designing and producing, she lives and breathes jewellery, driven by ordinary day to day things … People … Flowers … Water … YOU.
She tries to translate these influences into her jewellery, for instance by combining silver pieces with stones, stamps, pearls and sometimes a simple piece, fabrics, dried seeds, glass or wood. All this can be seen by looking at her collections like the Heliconia (Palulu), Stamp On It, Skwala (Waves) or melting pot collections.
